Robin DeLorenzo

Premier Records Recording Artist, Robin DeLorenzo is a powerful, bluesy-country-soulful rocker who sings from her soul, writes from her heart and puts it all out there for every song and performance. "I sing and write from what I know - my struggles, passions, heartbreaks...my life," confesses singer-songwriter Robin DeLorenzo, and one thing is certain, when Robin sings everyone listens. It's as if time is standing still. She has a special way of grabbing the entire room with her first breath and holding on to them with every story telling note. She is magnetic and engaging. She is a true talent.

Robin has been favorably compared to Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner and Cher for her powerful vocals, emotional deliveries and passionate performance style.

Having been involved with many musical projects and various types of bands over the years, Robin has comfortably settled into her own music. She performs regularly, in New Jersey’s Tri-state area with her band, Robin DeLorenzo Band which is comprised of some of the best blues musicians in the N.J.

In 2011, Robin released her CD Wanna Fly and worked with Emmy Award Winner Producer/Arranger Lisa Ratner (Barbara Streisand, Vanessa Williams, Dolly Parton); nine songs written by Robin and each reaches deep into her life’s experiences. The CD has received glowing reviews and her song "Shakey Ground" was awarded a Lady Lake Indie Music Award in January 2012 for Best New Female Song. Robin is currently working on her follow up CD titled, Walking Miles in My Shoes, due out Fall 2013.

Recently, Robin co-wrote and recorded a CD with Guitarist Manny Charlton. Manny is co-founding member and former guitarist/songwriter for the 1970’s Scottish Rock Band, Nazareth, famous for their version of the song Love Hurts. Robin has also performed with Manny in Chihuahua, Mexico where approx 8,000 adoring fans came out in support and also in Alabama on July 4, 2013 for the Spirit of Freedom Festival for 20,000 attendees. The Rock CD, Hellacious, was released in March 2013 on which Robin co-wrote the song, "It Does Something."

Robin has also been so blessed to have shared the stage, performed for and/or recorded with a few serious Rock Legends such as Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Robert Sarzo, Guitarist (Queensryche, Hurricane, Ozzy), Tim Bogert, Bassist (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Beck), Vivian Campbell, Guitarist (Def Leppard), Steven Adler, Drummer (Guns n Roses), Walfredo Reyes Jr., Drummer (Santana, Chicago, L.Buckingham), Dean Minnerly, Keyboardist (Three Dog Night), and Jerry Best (Lion), to name a few.
