Deena Miller is without a doubt living proof that along with skills and raw talent, persistence is a key to success. Deena has been living full out, committed to the process of being a performing singer songwriter without focusing on recognition and rewards. Since the beginning she's been pouring out her heart and conquering fans with a contagiously optimistic "feel good about yourself "attitude. Her strength comes through her powerful voice carrying messages from her soul, delivering it with depth and precision.

Deena is following in the footsteps of her musical parents,
father Jimmy Miller the legendary producer
(ROLLING STONES, TRAFFIC, BLIND FAITH, MOTORHEAD, PLASMATICS)
and mom Gayle Shepherd, member of the singing group
"THE SHEPHERD SISTERS"
(who had the million selling single"ALONE" in 1956).
Her mom and dad inspired her to appreciate the rawness and truth in
music and by the age of eight, Deena started singing, writing and playing the guitar.
Deena hit the the road and started performing at the age of 16,including a
world tour with rock legend “MEATLOAF” as his featured powerhouse vocalist.
Since then, it’s been straight ahead.....Deena continues to perform all over the world,
and has rocked the house for huge corporations including,
GILLETTE, IBM, CADILLAC, LOTUS, READERS DIGEST,
and has penned for LIPTON, ALL MY CHILDREN, ABC and MORE......
Deena's music is a true reflection of herself, strong yet vulnerable.
She works alone finding her own way and defining her unique style.
"I love arranging vocal harmonies and backgrounds almost as much as writing
the melodies, I guess it comes from having a family who loved to sing together “
Production has been a passion from the time she was a little girl, and sat in front
of a mixing board for the first time. Deena’s first recording was created
on her 4 track that she bought for herself when she was 17...later on,
investing in a 24-track home studio, she taught herself the skills
needed to produce quality demos of her songs, which would soon payoff.
Deena is co-producer teamed with veteran Steve Jankowski
on her Debut Album "A Thousand Words."
